Automatics or manuals? I imagine it could be an exercise in frustration with the 22RE's ~90rwhp applying the brakes going uphill.
Yeah, 6X6. Actually two in my previous 5 speed truck, one front one rear, and on in the rear axle of my current automatic truck. Both trucks were 3.0's.

I never saw your other threads.

Don't sweat it.

The install is pretty easy. Look atwww.gear-installs.com. Basically, you are removing the ring gear and bearings from the carrier, then putting them on the Truetrac carrier. Then you re-install the carrier in the third, and reset the backlash and bearing preload. It sounds more difficult than it is. You do need a "dial indicator" though.

Dude, no offense meant, but the only time I post in repetitive threads that frustrate me is when I feel like picking a fight.

If it really is the same old thing over and over again, to the point where it offends or bothers, the best thing to do is hit the back button on your browser and forget about it.

I see no harm in threads like this, but agree if the OP wants more info the search is the best option.

By telling him how to spell Truetrac so his search would be successful, or telling him how to install it?

They are called a torque-biasing differential for a reason. They can bias the torque, but never 100% to the side that needs it. So, wheel-in-the-air you've got problems. But the rest of the time it's good.
