as far as I knew the v6's only had the sr5 option .. odd..
options - 7 way adjustable seats
sunroof
power locks/windows
AC
SR5 upholstry I think was one.
4cyl had a gear driven case
v6 had a chain driven case
for 35"s you will need about 6" of lift.
you could go with a combo of body/suspension lift, or try and go with all suspension - 4" bracket lift + 1.5" BJ spacers + minor t-bar crank.
Depending on what kind of tire you go with

Ball Joint Spacers, springs, spring spacers, etc.
I figure a 2" body lift, Downey 1.5" rear lift springs with 2" spacers from 4Crawler, 1.5" Ball Joint Spacers from 4Crawler, Downey Torsion Bars cranked to give 3.5" to match the rear. Plus some longer shocks too.
That should put me at 5.5" and give me room for the 35s. Any other room I need I can make with the BFH and Sawzall.

You might want to buy the 1" diff drop from 4crawler too, to help out your cv angles ![Smilie](https://www.yotatech.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Any reason why you want to go with downey t-bars? I would stay with stock ones - softer ride - more flex UNLESS you have a big bumper + winch

aftermarket t-bars will not let you crank them up for more lift, they are just stiffer.
And I wouldn't crank them up more then an inch with the bj spacers.
Unless you drop the diff 1" then you can get 2 more inches of lift without TOO much worry about your cv joints.

I've talked to the guy who owns the truck and found out a bit more.
It will pass e-test and it's had an alternator done on it fairly recently too, plus a tune up.
Trying to set up something to have a look at the truck this week.

No because I rather take a look at it myself.
Besides after I look at it, I'll get used vehicle package which will tell me all the previous owners and any accidents the vehicle was in.

Go tall and Skinny with the tires adn you'll be able to run 35's with ALOT less lift. There's a guy here in Oregon that had 35x10.50 SSR Radials on the STOCK suspension (3rd Gen PU).
I'd advise going Old Man Emu for the suspension (I have a Gen1 so I have leaves not coils like the Gen2's) flat out the best stuff made IMO. The T-bars are slightly larger than stock but not as big as the Downeys. FWIW, I hear alot of horor stories about the sag experienced with Downey's leaf springs and a friend who ran their T-bars is going back to stock untill he get's his OME's.
Bj spacers IMO are great, very simple to instal and realy no drawbacks I've found yet...
I'd be stoked about the 22RE, as slow as you might have to go sometimes (and gearing should aleviate alot of that) it is kinda nice knowing you have a mtor that will run forever and then some. Plus it's got a 5-speed so you can get the most out of the little bugger.
