One-eyed monster: sealed beam question

I'll look into it this summer when I'm doing less school, more work. Can you still see non-illuminated overhead signs (ie: BC Ferries) with the low cut-offs?

Osram ownes sylvania. But they make a seperate Osram silverstar bulb. Its MUCH better then the sylvania version. Google it, I found it out when I was researching the silverstars lifespand and wetweather performance.
p.s
How do you like your yellow fogs? I really want to install a similar set..

Sounds good. My Nighthawks (edit: Nighthawk, singular, only bought one to replace the burned out light) are actually way brighter than stock. Not bad for an extra $15 compared to the standard GE sealed beams. Strangely, what was a good aim on the old headlights was completely off with the Nighthawks.

Hey Matt, You can defantly see the overhead signs on the hwy. Its not as bright as if you had DOT lights but the added light on the road really helps. Its nice when you want to see a roadside sign. The flared pattern lights up the signs really well.
let me know if you want to see how they look....

Matt, did you use a floor jack to replace your headlight? I see it in the photo you posted. If you have to jack a sealed beam into place, I take back what I said about you guys being tougher.
