Once again no power in 3.0L V6

Alright guys here's the background info.

My dad got this '92 pickup several years ago because it was t-boned but it was on the pass. side and still ran great. It has a V6 3.0L with a 5 speed and 4WD. I put a clutch in it and my dad drove it for a year or so and it lost power over time. It got to the point where it would barely pull at all and now it will barely crank and idle.

Here's what I've done thus far:

Plugs
Wires
Cap & rotor
Double checked firing order
Fuel filter (which was full of rust, girt and grime)
Took the cat and muffler off to see if it was plugged (wasn't)

I would check the timing but I can't rev the motor that high. The battery is good, as well as the alternator. The timing belt hasn't been touched from when it ran decent.

I thought the O2 sensor might be bad but I can't imagine a bad one would make it nearly not run. I'm still thinking it's a fuel delivery problem and after reading this thread, post #15. I might try to take the fuel rail off:

I searched this via google to get some ideas from the site:

3.0 + no power site:https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/

I also have a coworker with a '93 4Runner who said he had the same problem and the mechanic told him a sensor on the back of the block had caused the trouble but I'm unsure of any back there nor if it would cause that much of a problem.

Any insight or experience with this would really help. We're about to take it to a mechanic if we can't figure it out which is saying a lot coming from my family of shadetree mechanics, haha.

I had also suspected the airflow meter but when I unplug it while running it won't even stay running. I might try to test it again.

Might as well give it a bump.
