What you'll run into is the gate and window even are too tall to fit right there when compared to how it sits now within the assembly. I've thought of doing that before, but scrapped the idea because it became too complicated to make it work right. What would be WAAAAYYYYY!!!!! cool, though, is if you made a soft window for it that rolled up and a makeshift gate that would fold down flat in the bed or pull out altogether.

Also, you'll have to turn your rollbar backwards to face the other direction. Look on Zuk's gearinstalls page for a white 4rnr who chopped his top like you're suggesting.....just didn't do a window. It's in the section where Zuk has pics of the people that have done the coil mod. That's where I originally got the idea from.

More on the soft window idea. Actually, if you made a frame and small soft top for the back portion of your cab topper delete, you could still integrate your rear power window to work with it. There's a full size soft top design floating around here that's done that......integrate the factory window, that is. 4runnerX3 (I think that's his username spelling) has one.

You mean someone actually fit the factory gate/window assembly in that location? Hmmm........do you have a link by chance?

i was going to keep the rear gat and strip it of all its glory so all you saw was the toyota and the key whole there and take the window parts regulater and everything to where the rear window would be at after the chop that way i can still roll the rear window down fron the inside/ outside( with the key hole) and then it would fold flat in side the rear pick up rear thingy so it still has the full inside gargo room
