oil weight question

Hey guys. Im currently running some 10-30w quaker state to break in my new engine. I am about to move down to Dallas (where its hot as hell). I currently live in NW Indiana. I have already decided on switching to full synthetic mobil 1 extended perf. My question is what weight should I use? I was thinking because it gets up to 115 degrees down there in the summer, I should run 15-50w?? Thoughts anyone?

I've run that weight before, it works fine. I typically run 15W40 nowadays.
