At idle my oil pressure gauge sits just under the first little line, normal?

yeah thats about normal, if you are really worried about it you can get a oil pressure gauge from harbor freight($10) and hook it up and see what you read. I did this because I worried I had low oil pressure hooked up the gauge and it was perfect, but yeah thats about where the stock gauge will read.
