Oil pressure drop

I just dropped a remanned engine in my 94 Runner. I noticed while driving around town that the oil pressure gauge drops as the RPMs drop. In other words, when I am accelerating or the engine is under load the gauge is at about 1/2. When I coast or decelerate, it slowly drops. At idle it's at about 1/3. Is this normal? When I got the truck it wasn't running so I don't have anything to compare it to. I reused the old sender unit.

I've seen this in a few other posts, always w/ high mileage engines, but never an answer how to fix it or if it needs to be fixed.

Normal, the oil pump is driven off the crank, the faster the motor turn the more oil it pumps....
