oil pickup tube diameter?

Does anyone know what size the oil pick-up tube is on a 22RE?

I'm going to modifiy my oil pan and will need to lengthen the pick-up tube. It would be nice to know what size tube I need on hand.

Most guys will make a large aluminum spacer and run a gasket on top and below to drop the pickup down further. This is how TRD does it on modern racecars. Item #2 in the picture below.

Or else run an oil accumulator and not bother modifying the pan for larger capacity.

Pic is borrowed from TRD-japan's website:

In the long run, I'd like to run an accumulator but that's not in the budget right now.

The spacer arrangement could work, But I won't know that until I take it apart. I want to be able to make this modification with the least time down as possible. So I was thinking of extending the tube and pan because that involves basic welding and fab skills.
