oil passages

WHat is the best way to find blockages in oil passages.

Also in the photo below courtesy of bleeder, the holes circled in yellow, does oil pass through these, one of them is the hole for the pickup tube in which i have a broken bolt and I am trying to figure out if there is oil behind it, the other is a threaded hole and there is nothing in. (not the galley plug next to the pickup tube.)

Also is there any holes that might be blocked by a bolt that my be too long etc.

Seems like I am getting oil to #1 and #2 rods but not #3 and #4, while taking out the galley plug by the pickup tube, oil cam out, however the back one by the rear main there was no oil behind it.

definitely not in the pan and not anywhere around my "extra" parts box, I am thinking machine shop forgot to put it back in and I took for granted TWICE it was there. oh well. #4 bearing looks good thanks god and had oil in it miraculously. got to check #3 yet. I think the only thing that saved it was I caught it really early this time unlike last time and the fact that Tod over at ENGBLDR gave me his suggestion on using that sta-lube blue marine bearing grease and Valvoline oil.
