Oil leak!!

Oil leak!!
On the driver side near the middle of the oil pan right above the oil pan is a round canister with what looks to be a 15/16 or 1 in bolt on the center does anyone know what this is called and had anyone else had a problem with it leaking oil before? Thanks in advance guys
