been chasing an oil leak, not sure if it's the rear main seal and the oil slinging up through the bell housing or if its coming some where else. v/c gaskets cam plugs and rtv the metal cam covers done about 1,000 miles ago. any ideas welcome thanks

Make, Model, Year, Motor size would all help. Assuming 3.0 3VZE, probably rear main seal if you did the valve cover gaskets correctly torqued.
Oil leak trace dye, glasses, and a dye light would help locate the point of the leak. Put trace dye in engine, run for suggested mileage, and look over the engine with the special light and glasses, to find your leak. Eliminates guessing!
