Just messaged Dano about this. I spend about $400 bones for a 93 (2nd gen custom made all phase bumper)

and let me tell you that bumper is worth its weight in gold, especially when TC got it hung up on a rock right after the waterfall in carnage canyon (Yes I let my boys drive my rig for fun)

So spend the money so now so you won't be paying out the A$$ in body damage later!

$300-500 is cheap considering what folks pay for brushguards and the like that are all bling and no function. There are lots of custom fabricators online. Just depends on what neck of the woods you are in if you are looking for someone local.

Most materials for a "tube" style bumper are going to cost you at least $150 and then you have labor at at least $25/hour...you do the math and you'll understand if you build your own that it takes lots of time to fabricate any type of bumper, much less a duplicable one that will actually fit and work.

You also might try using the "search" feature at the top of the page which is available to everyone at Yotatech.

Welcome.

I like bigrocksoffroad bumpers and they are 325 ea. i think maybe more for the front, and All Pro has some on sale right now too. but once you think about it they are worth it if you get in an accident, or your on the trail and hit something that doesnt let you open your rear hatch or doors, ETC.

Good Luck.

I gotta see when you 4hummer the back. If not in person, then definitely take pics!

I'm slowly stripping it down (whats left). The mirror and 99% of the interior is already "spoken" for.

What do you need help with? the door or the cuttin' up? Wednesdays and Thursdays almost always work for me.
