Is this normal: gap in body mount location
Still learning my way around these pickups so bear with me.
'92 extended cab
I noticed a gap at the bottom of what appears to be a body mount location. Like the bushing is worn and causing the bolt and washer plate to ride lower.
Shown are is the driver's side, fore and aft of the door.
Passenger side is exactly the same.
Secondary question. I have a set of sliders (4x Innovations) I'm planning on welding on but the bottom of the cab's pinch weld seam is nearly the same height as the bottom of the frame so I cannot weld on the mounting leg tubes without angling them down. It will contact the body otherwise.
As a result I was crawling around underneath, noticed the gap mentioned above and it made sense. If the bushings were worn, the cab would be sitting lower relative to the frame. But if that gap is normal, I'll just get creative with the install

The body lines between the cab and bed seem to line up horizontally but the bottom sill of the cab sits low to the frame.
Here's a couple more pics.
Showing the 1.5" distance between bottom of cab and bottom of frame rail. Which is not much clearance if I were to weld 2" tube sliders on
