Just picked up this truck. Doesn't seem ideal. Is this a problem? Is this normal? Thanks in advance !!

Interesting, maybe a weird add a leafish thing? Hmmmm I don’t think it’s an issue but I can’t un see it at this point

It looks similar to a Hellwig overload spring helper.

Is an added helper spring not OEM. It has an additional retaining clip next to the factor spring clip. Won't hurt. Good news is there are plenty of shops that sell complete 4x4 leaf springs if you want to upgrade or replace the OEM completely.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'll leave it alone for now. I'll have to decide what to do long-term if I keep it.
