Noise from front passenger tire when turning left?
#1
I've been hearing a grinding/ rubing noise only when I turn left, it only last for a second though. I've done some searches and it sounds like it has to be the CV shaft. Is there anything else I need to look for?? Possible bearing??

rub
I had a problem with my 89 toyota pickup.
Noise was caused by the lower skirt under the bumper bending back and rubbing the tire. Yours might be more serious but check this out before you spend a bunch of time on it. I felt silly when someone (standing outside the pickup) pointed it out.
good luck.

ok not saying this is it but my right front knuckle and cv shaft was worn out and it got so bad that it would vibrate and whine when i drove but it would go away some times. it always happened when i took a right corner. anyways took it all apart and the cv shaft inside the knuckle could mover back and forth like crazy. so i t wore out the brass sleave in the knuckle and the shaft was toast. new knuckle and cv
. anyways i would check that out. just pop you tire off and the hub and see if the shaft has any play.
