Oh dude you have no idea how long I have messed with this thing. I even made a smoker to smoke the intake to find my EGR valve diaphragm was leaking. If I new how to post a picture of my smoker I would it looks do hilarious but it found that was one of my problems but not the main one. This engine in mine was one I bought from ATK North America, so this should fall under the 3 year warranty. My smoker looks so hilarious, mason jar, lid, two spark plug boots, aluminum foil, with a bed of card board with a red hot piece of charcoal with a bed of cardboard on top charcoal, hooked up a small air pump, sealed up the intake throttle and my EGR smoked more than a crack head, lol, thanks again for letting me piggyback!

I need to ask a stupid question. Earlier in this thead it was mentioned bypass mode. What exactly does this mean. I have not heard about this while referring to timing of the engine?

Thanks to everybody!

Bypass mode is when you jump 2 contacts in the diagnostic box on the passenger side.

Oh no, I did not do this when I advanced my timing. Does this mean that what I thought was a bad timing belt is really ok?
Worried again!
