No Power to A/C
Ok i have a 1990 toyota pickup 4x4 with a 22re. Last week i check the freon in my ac system "which was good" and now my ac compressor will not come on. i am not getting power to the compressor and i check the same wire closer to fire wall and still no power. i have check the fuse on the passanger side kicker panel and both are good. also my blower and everything else works just no cold and i live in Texas so i need AC. any advice would be helpfull. Iwas thinking mybe the AC relay but not sure???? What do yal think???

I re-titled your thread as it was very ambiguous.
It's best to title your threads with the search feature in mind, title it something that it will pick up on so it's easier for other members to find this thread if/when they have the same issue.

I havent worked on it this week at all i been working 12hr shifts so havent had any time to work on it.
I am going to try replaceing the relay tom morning and if that dont work try jumping the pressure switch.
I will keep you posted and let you know what i find.
Have you checked to see if you are getting power and checked all your fuses?

Subscribed.... .and waiting for fix, lol.
You're CERTAIN you've got enough Freon to trigger the clutch on the AC? Mine hissed fine but was under(whatever the minimal requirement was) so it wouldn't engage the clutch. Filled it up to full, 'voila'. Sorry if you've verified everything, ....just throwing it out there in case, lol. You've put power right to the Unit and the clutch still wont engage?

Ok here is what i got, I ran a jumper wire from the battery straight to the compressor the cluth kicked on but never blew cold.
I also hook up my gauge to see what the pressure was but what i oper the valve it just rapped all the way around to the other side and peged out high pressure!!
Any suggestions (im kinda think my compressor may be bad but im not very inclined on Ac stuff just know how to service... Thanks

well did into some books on A/C you can learn some thing and share it with the ret of us..
that may be it, isnt there a orfice filter that is inside the line that has to be changed out every so often...
