Congrats. Can't wait to see the buildup.

What'd brian say, "Oh, Clint told you to order from me? I'll have to charge you double then!"

Lol

I'm just happy you have friends. Friends that spend money!

You got a t-shirt yet? I'll send you one as a "finder's fee". Let me know what size.

Good read. Very inspiring - resurrecting the dead and incarnating it into a nicer looking rig. 2 thumbs up...

Well shoot, I'll take an XL if ya got one handy. Always happy to sport some wabfab ware (I'll take the finder fee for coining that term too lol). Mind throwing in a sticker in the package too? Only TG stickers came in the box when I got ordered from you the first time, so I was a little bummed that the yoter didn't have a sticker of the wabbit. Had a nice place all picked out for it and everything, right next to my "Here Kitty-Kitty" sticker lol.

Speaking of friends with money, you might be getting some more big orders from some buds of mine, and an order for a 3link from me after my wallet recuperates from the holiday spending season (also pending on whether I get these air shocks for free from a buddy of mine). I was gonna order my lockers I just bought from you, but you don't carry the aussie's I went with. But anyhoo, I'll keep you posted on that.

Starting cutting the housing today and noticed the balls were pretty pitted in spots. Searched around and saw someone mention filling the pits with JB weld? Think that's worth a try or do you think just wire wheeling them will get them smooth enough so I don't have grease seeping past the seal.

Ready for the creeper and top gussets.

I would wire it lightly be careful though.
The pitt's definately should be filled in though.
The jb weld solution sounds good even a fiberglass resin sanded smooth would work too.
My 82's front axle had the same thing on it. It's part of being the rust belt you'll be lucky if you find a axle without that kind of pitting.

Seems like 4crawler has something on his website. Lightly sand and clean, JB weld and resand. Not a problem in Bama.

Yeah it's a sams club winch. It's gone through 1 motor, I'm on the second. Champion replaced it for free. I lost count of how many times I used it. It's slow and low powered but for $209 I will not complain.

Yeah I'm going to wire wheel the pitting then spread jb weld over it and sand it down.

Some boxes showed up at work today. Only half of them though, the rest come tomorrow.
Finished sanding the JB-Welded balls. They're a lot smoother now, I don't think I'll have a problem with leaks. Got all the gussets and armor fitted and tacked on. Tomorrow night I'll finish weld everything.

Yeah I went 4" front and rear. Combined with my 1" BL, my 33's are gonna look plain wonky. As soon as my other money tree blooms I'm getting 35" BFG KM2's. And then when I break a birf I'm going longs, and then when the lock-rights explode I'm going detroits, and then... and etc... $$$
