did this over the weekend and the buzzer is permanently silenced now. I geuss i should have taken a photo but it really is that simple so anybody can do it. A bit more challenging is getting the box secured back in its original location. Thanks again, Wally!

i forgot to take pictures when i had mine out, too. but, once apart, it's obvious how to silence it.
