idle problem

It does not stall. I forgot to mention it is an auto trans, in park when you turn on the a/c the engine does not idle up. Truck runs fine, it has 220,000 miles on it. The guy i bought it from replaced timing belt and trans .

Are you sure the compressor is kicking on?

idle problem

Yes a/c is working fine, i had a/c company check a/c system when i purchased the truck. Ive herd that there is a idle up valve, but don't know what it looks like or where it is located in the engine bay. And is this unit adjustable?
