I know myself as well as many others have been looking for a way to put cupholders in first gen 4runners/ second gen pickups to no avail. There's really no good spot to put them in the cab unless you're willing to settle for the ones that slide into the window channel or using the wedgie. I remember seeing pictures of a really nice aluminum one that a company had made but supposedly was now unavailable. Well, i found them!

Hopefully this isn't old news, but i felt a faint glimmer of hope of not having to worry about spilling burning hot cocoa on my crotch anymore and thought i'd share. I will be ordering one soon and will let you guys know what i think!

EDIT: Looks like they are currently out of stock (today is January 12, 2013) but that the company is still around. Hopefully they'll make another batch of these soon!

 

i have one in my '88 4runner.

the one i have was made for jim, owner of protrux - now gone

he had a company make a bunch for him.

[edit] i just visited the site... i've seen that x90 at jim's shop. and the protrux logo is on it.
