Should I leave em polished or black em out?
Ok so my bumpers, front and rear hitches, safari rack and soon my sliders are all powder coated Hammertone Black. I getting ready to install new wheels and I have chrome grill, mirrors, handles and insert in my body side molding, so leaving them polished won't look bad. So should I leave my new wheels polished or should I black em out too?
The wheel can be ordered already black but I hear it doesn't hold up well in AZ, plus if I go black I think it would match better if the textures were all the same.
Here's my ride missing it's rack.

My rack.

Before rear hitch done to match bumper.

My new wheels.

i would leave the wheels polished. if you were to black out your wheels i would of just bought black wheels from the start. just polish them every 6 months thats what i do with mine. they still look great and they are 2yrs old

Just my luck. My new wheels showed up Thursday and when I took them out of the boxes on Friday to mount them, one of them was bent. I must have been bent at ProComp because it had an attempted repair (hammer and sanding marks). Also the box that it was in was in perfect shape. Now I have to wait even longer to put my new wheels on.

New wheels and tires finally on.
New rims are 16" with 265/75/16 ProComp Extreme A/T's. They are about 2" bigger than the ones I had on before. Just enough to help fill in those wheel wells with plenty of clearance for turning and travel.

JD you should black-out your rims to match rest of your truck.Go with your original thought, not only will it look cool but it looks like u know what your doing.Stick with the same theme.Ever thought about powder coat hammertone black for your door handles?...bet that would look sweet!

Partly that's what it was offered in the size I wanted. Second, I have a safari rack, built in back in with air pumps, dual battery, air tanks, i.e. extra weight. Plus I pull a small trailer once in awhile. Figured it wouldn't hurt to have to have a LT rated tire.
