I grew up in North Delta, BC but don't miss the rain and RUST!!! Tucson, AZ has no rust. Truck looks goos w/ the BFG mudders but I hear they suck in the rain and you do get rain...

Wheelingnoob:
I might need a little help to install them, more or less the cutting aspect
MIKEMOKAS:
Thanks for the nice words, rims are 3.5" backspacing and for my shifters all I had to do to make them work is..
cut and weld in the extensions, bend the shifter to the left and up a little bit to clear the t-case shifter and I inverted the bottom boots.
I have full range for my shifter and t-case shifter. Altho it took some getting used to with the longer shift throws
keithguts:
the rear bumper is TOTALLED, it has been pushed pulled and overall just f-cked up! It managed to mess up my bed too
A tube bumper will replace it soon enough, contacted a local place ( big country customs) to get a quote on a custom one.
starrett:
yeah yeah rub it in, I am not a fan of the rain at ALL and the rust.. ohhh the rust. But I recently coated my frame with tremclad rust paint to help prevent that! Somtimes I would like to move somwhere else with less rain but I LOVE the snow and the cold
when it gets over like 30?c I am dead!

I like the valance
On another note, I think im rubbing on my frame at full lock!!! WTF
I am defently rubbing somwhere in my fenderwells..
either my inner fender towards the cab or my frame..
Im gonna take the BFH to the inner fender and will go from there..
How the hell are people running 35"s with a 3" body lift and no rubbing!

Hey on the BJ spacers I bet that once you see what you have to cut you'll think "dang I could've done that myself." Trust me I had never worked on any sort of car until I got my 4runner a year ago (just after my 17th bday). Just grab a grinder and get some cut off wheels for it and get to work. Its a lot of fun and makes you feel like you've really accomplished something. Just my .02.

I have hardly ANY tools at my house
I need to buy some jackstands!
Tools = expensive!
Black wheels just look good IMO I like chrome but yeah, I prefer the black on black wheel look.

Well Im taking the truck on a trip in a few weeks (few hundred km's) so I dont want to mess up the new tires.
And I dont know when I could get the bj spacers and get them installed along with the rear add-a-leafs. So..

I trimmed the valance and bent all the lips in with a vise grip. I seem to have 0 rubbing so far. I parked the truck up a curb to check for rubbing.
I also took a BFH to the pinch weld in the fender wells. I seem to have pretty good clearance BUt I can see if I hit a bump at full lock (at a decent speed) I will contact the fenders.
Looks like it will be okay for the time being, or at least untill I get home from my mini vacation.
Then I will get the bj spacers, install them along with some rear add-a-leafs I have sitting in my garage. I think another 1-2" of lift will make it look VERY nice
I already look like a fool getting into the truck, me being only 5'7"
pictures..

Pm sent about roll bar.
Thanks for the nice comments Mike. The wheels are 15x8.5 w/ 3.5" backspacing.
The trim.. ugh well it was like that when my dad bought the truck a few years back so I assume they stuck the trim back on when they painted it but the strims came off over the years.. now there are 2 strips left.. looks stupid!
Next nice day that I have a few hours to waste, I will go out with a hair dryer and try to peel them off. Here's hopin I dont take any paint off!
I was going to do blackwall lettering but seriously, EVERYONE has it like that, and I just like the combo of the black wheels and tires and the white lettering, I felt that it would look too bland without it..
my opinion though
on a side note, I hit a stupid pothole at 80km/h on my way to work this morning, made my sterio skip and made me bottom out but no rubbing
yay!
You should hear these tires at 110km/h .. they are pretty dang loud
Almost tunes out my exhaust
