Thanks! Yeah it's the 22RE with the 5 speed, I'm loving it so far.

I've heard the red paint is known to get faded on these, I've bought some Meguiars Ultimate Compound and I'm going to buff it. I'm hoping this will bring back the shine and color to the paint.

I'm sure it will but these trucks weren't made to shine! So long as it's dry and rust free it looks good.

That looks real good. In the first picture your truck looked kind of pink because of the faded paint.

Post up a picture once your done.

Alright dudes, just finished the whole front end.

Newer vs. older

The bed will have to wait until Monday, but I'm extremely happy with how it turned out!

As far as my plans go, it's to drive the heck out of it and take care of it!

Very nice, looks about like mine before and after, make sure to throw a nice good wax on after the buff. But it already looks happier

YES, DC! I was going to say.... LOOK at that smile on her! hahaha. Ear to Ear.... With a dumpy rump! hahaha.

Seriously brudda... that is looking GREAT! How'd the hood turn out? Roof? Any peeling? If not, EVEN BETTER news! Dang, ...throw some Soft 8 Alum's on that thing and some BFG 50's Street Tires... and HOLY HECKLES! lol... DOESN'T need it, it's a nice truck... I'm just thinking out loud.

HAVE FUN WITH IT! But hurry up and buff her rump... hahaha.... She might get a complex if she sees the reflection of her cloudy rear!

Very nice! I'll admit to giving mine a good buff when I brought it home and it made a world of difference. Maybe I'll do it again next spring!

and again... 2wd, long bed, 22re, 5 speed... I'M ENVIOUS!! ZUK mod it and I'd be haulin' mcycles around in that all day!

Is this a long bed? That's good to know.

And what is a ZUK mod? Sorry, new to this truck business.

OK did you use an orbital buffer, or by hand? My tail gate needs some help. Exact details on how you did it.
Thanks
