A while back the motor on my 90 lost the radiator and overheated. I was tempted to do a cheap rebuild. My friend is a mechanic who owns his own shop and recommended a Jasper. I couldn't find any long term reports from any other 22re sources, so I went with his advice.

Got a crawler cam from engnbldr, OBX headers, Supra AFM, and 2.5" exhaust with a hooker aero chamber.

Got about 2k on it now. It really hauls tail compared to my mildly modded 94 and screams past my father in laws bone stock 92.

I liked the crawler cam so much I put one in my 94. what a difference in bottom end.

I'll have to take a few better pictures in a bit, I just took some with my phone.







didn't like the air dam deal, and it looked worse without it. So I cut this 6x1/4 flat and bolted it on. Looks a little better now. It's the wife's DD so she doesn't want it to look like a wheeler.


Before going up the hills on the highway I had to drop down to 4th and it would lose speed.. now it pulls 5th on the same hills no problem.

I love the sound too.

if you do a rebuild, make it go fast!
