hey just thought I'd introduce myself. im from Alberta canada and im currently on my second 4runner.

thats my current truck, the pic is old its from when i got it. its a 92 3VZ 5speed, grey interior. pretty much stock except I put on some OME front shocks (came with blown shocks) since the pic i've taken off the granny boards and taken off all the decals on one side of the truck (its a slow process)

and a pic of my first 4runner, she was a total POS, but it ran like hell. it was a 22RE 5sp, rusted out to hell, and had around 350,000kms on it.

next up is the OME rear springs, shocks, and BJ spacers up front. also got a friend selling some 31x10.5 bridestone dueler MT's i may pick up

I'm currently in Edmonton but plan on moving down to somewhere in the canadian rockies as soon as I'm done my apprenticeship

aviator - thanks man, I love my ladies clean and shaven. I'll have to get some recent pics it looks 100x better without the cheezy 1990's graphics

...and since I was digging up pics of my old 4runner, I gotta post pics of my old baby. Sold her to use the cash for a down payment on a home. I went from driving this RX7 to a $500 rusted 4runner. BUT I did enjoy the 4runner so much I had to buy another, and now im happy with my 92.

still miss going topless though.

that is a beautiful truck... i have had the opprotunity to see a few 2doorsin person, and they were either black or silver... nice to see a color like red on one... and yes, i like the "cheezy 90's graphics" as well... you just cant find that personality on vehicles anymore...
WELCOME!!

thanks for all the welcomes everyone.

deines97runnah - in north america there were very few convert RX7's. and all of them were non-turbo. I got a japan-imported one, it was right hand drive, but it was turbo. and it also had a 5sp swap done to it (they were all auto) so i had one of a kind 5sp turbo vert. BUT right hand drive in north americ sucks and it was a PITA to make right hand turns.

oh, and i sealed the deal on the 31 inch MT's today so next up is a 2inch lift

Too bad you had to sell the 7...
So far as the graphics go except for that cheesy 4x4 I did'nt think they looked too bad...
There is a link here someplace to a supplier that can set you up with the factory original graphics for your model year if you wanted to go the full resto route.

yeah the 4X4 decal was the first to go on both sides. I think if i get graphics again i'll probably design something myself and have the vynal shop cut it all out for me. but thats cool someone is repro the orig ones.

..and i am once again in the saggy butt club.
