New meats for the summer!
My luck finally turned this year for the better. My friend scored a 1986 single cab Turbo 22ret for 1400 bucks, it was a steal and he sold his 88 4runner for a major major profit, so his truck is almost done being built, 4,7 tcase lockers, sas, everything, its awesome... it came with 31 bfg AT's .. we traded those for 32x11.50 Swamper TSL SX's on these oldskool alloys.. So he gave them to me.
I had 31x10.50 mud rovers that were desperately bald. I want to put either 33x10.50 bfg muds or possibly a 35 of same type (will be test fitting the 35's soon, another buddy has brand new ones i can fit up to see how they feel)
So ... I have meats to get me through the summer until i can afford NEW meats! but this was a score for sure, cant beat FREE!!!!!
Before (when the mud rovers were new):
The new to me (they have 40% tread left)
I plan on adding sliders very soon and if all goes well this summer, work wise.. ( this economy!) I will be selling the bed for my own very custom bed. The SAS could happen this summer but I'm thinking this winter is more realistic for that, financially.
I'm stoked!!!!!!!

NO..............................
lol.
I am running the sx's, i hope that truck isn't your daily driver.
MINE ARE HORRIBLE on road, and im not too impressed with them off road, horrible in the snow (in my opinion) but good thing the snow is gone. Decent in mud, rocks.

Well I've already road tested them 0-70mph .. Lil more vibration over 60 but overall I'm not complaining since I no longer fear of a blowout on the freeway on my way to work. AND surprisingly quiet. Experience with TSL's in the past is a very loud loud highway buzz noise lol which i dont mind either but these are surprisingly quiet.
on a side note TSL's, of any model are not what I plan on running. I plan on running BFG Km2's actually or the old skool mud terrains. Possibly 35 Dunlop mudrovers but I'm not sure yet, I like the sidewall protection.
Swampers are to expensive, to heavy (mpg/highway etc) and wear out WAY to fast! PERIOD lol
but these otta get me by the summer. It's wheeln season!
