Okay, I have to back away from this. I don't have diagrams for that distributor system. Mine are simple drawings.
You have a triple-pick-up. No doubt for more accurate signals.
I will concede I'm stuck on this part of the engine.

OK, here is where I'm at now. I've replaced the coil /igniter and the Distributor. It wasn't either of them. Checked all of the wiring and in the process of putting it all back together I noticed the check engine light came on. So I check to see what was going on. What I found is when the VAF meter (aka MAF) is unpluged the check engine light comes on and I have spark. When I plug the VAF in the check engine light goes out and I have no spark. With it unpluged the engine will start but dies because the VAF is unplugged. I've got another VAF on the way, but wanted to check here to see if anyone had any other ideas that might be the problem?
I'm going to figure it out, but who knows when??????????
Thanks,

Finally Got It.
It was the VAF aka MAS. When that puppy don't work it causes all kinds of problems.
Anyway just wanted to say thanks for any help I was given. But for future reference, START WITH VAF, MAS.
