Vinegar (and peroxide for wood or porous surfaces gives better penetration) also kills plants, bonus points also mold, mildew, and rust.
comet works awesome on mold like that. It's more the chemical than the abrasives. I've comet bathed many old yotas over the years, even my current 4Runner. It leaves it clean but dull. Wax it afterward.

someone mentioned it above but there were an aftermarket change, they usually go by Toyota custom cab or toyota king cab. you can google them theres a decent following for them. a guy that works here in SD has a very nice red one with a trail gear sas on it. winnebago did the aftermarket fiberglass cab. shame it wasnt for sale, they arent exactly more valuable but they are fairly rare. and for the guys that said it wont make a good trail truck i urge you to google search them because there are several mean custom cab trail rigs out there right now.
