Need part for Auto Locking hub

I’m looking for a spring used on 86-89 automatic locking hubs. Toyota refers to the part as a drum, and the spring is coiled inside. There should be two tangs bent at 90 degree angles at the ends. In my photo you can see one of them. The other end is missing.
if you have one and are willing to sell lmk. Thanks for reading this!

That’s awesome! Thank you! The spring/drum was discontinued by Toyota.

It'll be great to see these hubs come back to life. Lots of folks love to bash the automatic hubs, but I never had an issue with them until the brake work rebuild -- I wonder if they got mis-assembled and that broke the end of the wire off.

i had a thread that included the autohubs as far as they apply to wheel bearing service thread with some break-down of the auto hub components/reassembly
one of the pics shows that spring - same spring on its way to jimkola.

It doesn’t take much grease to hide those tangs and make them hard to see during reassembly.
Here they are now. I disassembled, cleaned, and repaired one of the outer cams. I ordered new gaskets and screw/bolts for the cap via Amayama. Got new cone washers at the same time.

I sand blasted the caps and painted with black epoxy appliance paint. The red is Testors model paint. One day I’m hoping to be able to powder coat some things.
Again, thank you to Blueman and Wallytoo😀

i could have given you the allen-head bolts and washer/gaskets for the cover, too. i've got enough extras for three hubs (18). i swapped those out for the hex-heads as on the manual hubs.

I had an 86 4runner i bought in 86, at about 10K miles the hub broke. Converted to manual hubs and never had an issue for the next 4 years and 100K miles until i sold it and went into the Army.
