Need a New Engine 1992 Toyota pick up engine

I have a 1992 Toyota pickup, lifted approximately 7 inches & 35 tires. Can someone recommend a site where I can purchase a re-manufactured or used engine (low miles) for a reasonable price (preferably under $1,500). I am in North Dakota if that helps. Need one ASAP

I just purchased a 3weezy from this place for $1800 including the shipping and a warranty: http://www.foreignengines.com/Engine_TO3001_3VZE_2958CC_USED_ENGINE.aspx
I needed to swap out as fast as possible so it suited the bill perfectly for me. I also beleive that Toyota's tolerances are so good that its best to grab one of these lower mileage unmolested motors than some questionable reman. long block but thats just like, my opinion, man. Motor runs strong and appeared well taken care of. The inside of it was spotless, no crud or sludge. The only PIA was swapping over the intake plenum due to the hardline heater hoses and such that are set up for right hand drive application in addition to the wiring harness which is also set up for RHD. Btw I have no affiliation with the company at all.

my original 3.0 had the head gasket recall at 80K and lasted to 220K But i noticed when comparing the import motor where the head gasket sticks out from between the block and heads towards the intake is that the gasket on my newer motor is a different material. whether that is an asbestos gasket, I do not know for sure since this engine was built for the jdm market. Also i noticed the size of the jap head bolt heads was a 14mm vs my old 12mm.

If at all possible try and buy local.

It is so much easier if you have problems because things do go wrong.

I have been involved in a few engines with problems and dealing with a vendor a 1000 plus miles away compared to one an hour away makes a big difference.
