need a lil help narrowing the search

so... ive got me a noise thats buggin the ba-jesus out of me ! first i have a 93 3.0 auto runner with lock outs
the noise is a humming sound to a slight whine it happens ONLY under power and dooes NOT change with RPMs just speed it happens with and without the hubs locked and will become very faint if i put it in 4wd so yes it is less if i engage the 4warp drive
i have already done the bearings packed and seated perfectly!
CV's lok great and dont bind (once again i have lock outs and ADD)
u jionts grease well and dont move at all !
no leaks from the diff( im running mobil1 syn which is 3 mth old and full )
so anyone got any ideas???

its tuff to give ideas, since you covered all the basics.

93- i dont recall if the spedometer is electronic or cable driven. could be a dry noisy cable. try putting truck in nuetral, and while coasting, turn off the engine. at least it would narrow down.

if not, just turn up the radio, and it will go away.
