need help finding year/model based on engine serial number

hey
i am new to this site and fairly new to owning a Toyota... i got an 89 pick up i'm doing an engine swap in cause two head gaskets blew...got a complete 97 t100 for 500. problem is the engine had already been swapped into that truck so i cant use the VIN from the parts truck to get the info from.
looking for help to get year and model based off the engine block serial number.... these are the numbers i got off the engine block the other day. 0209638. i believe it is from a 4runner. and the numbers came from above the oil filter on the passengers side.

thanks

Welcome to the forum. It should say on the valve cover. If you don't see it there, post a picture here and people can identify it.

i had a 3.0L v6 in the 89 now its 3.4L v6......

any helpful tips about the swap you can throw my way would be appreciated cause its now just me finishing it cause my boyfriend got too frustrated with it. haha
