Need help finding a replacement fuel strainer

I had to take down my tank on my '87 the other day to clean out sludge. One of the things I found was my fuel strainer was clogged completely. Upon attempting to clean it I was apparently a bit too rough with it as the netting collapsed. Anyway, I've gone on an epic quest to find a replacement battling dragons and reading the sacred catalog scrolls to no avail. I've even consulted master google, who even in his great wisdom has no answer for me.

Anyway, want to know if you guys can point me in the right direction to find a replacement. It goes on the end of the outlet tube in the tank. The tube is bent in an "L" shape. The end of the tube goes into the hole in the top of the strainer, and then there's a protrusion from the top of the strainer that clips onto the tube and holds it in place. The truck has a 22R motor with a mechanical fuel pump.

Time for a replacement!

I think you can only get this part from Toyota. I have not seen any aftermarket replacements. The part was still available last I checked.

The Toyota part number is: 77023-12050

or you can get one from your local dealer. Now might also be a good time to change the fuel filter if that has not been done in a while.

Borrowed from one of Terrys87's threads:
