i think it looks goofy both ways you do it !! If you go to the body line, its a great line to follow, but your truck will now look like a 2 tone painted truck & with the black fender flares it will just be too much ! & look wierd..

IF you go just below the body line you will be making your own line & that itself looks wierd when u got 2 lines going on... BUT this doesnt take a dramatic effect on your nice red paint... SO id like to see u go this route !

To the top of the body line, and a little lower on the tail gate. Easy to mask off when following the body lines.
