Awesome, I really like how it turned out.
I've got some serious sun damage on my truck (a downside of California, but still preferable to rust cancer). I need to figure out how to paint it this summer.

Thanks for the comments guys. Not a fan of tan either but my son is into the whole military colors right now amd wanted tan. Got the rest of the truck painted today and added a little touch to the hood to break up the tan. Now its time to put this thing together and get it on the road!

i am going to be building a flat deck for my 91, i think i am going to use yours as a rough template, it looks like it would work perfectly for what i want to do. can you give me a rough quantity and size of the tubing you used?

mattk: Looks awesome!
- Besides the 8 Bolts that hold the bed to the frame, what's involved in removing the fuel filler neck from the stock bed?
dropzone:
- What brand are the 18W LED flood lights you installed? How much $ were they? Are they pretty durable? How did you tap into the backup light wire to wire them up?
Thanks!
- Mike

18W LED flood light...they put out a ton of light and they draw hardly any power so I didn't need to run a relay off the stock back up light circuit.
Thanks!

When you open your fuel door, you will see 3 bolts that hold the filler neck in place. Remove those bolts and reach in from behind the bed and pull the neck out. Thats it!

That is one good looking flat bed. Hope the kid really enjoys it. I'm sure he is thankful for all the time & effort put in. Have a great time with the Yota. Keep up the good work. I'm sure there are more things that will be added on

Thanks! I think it helps when they have to buy their own truck and material to do modifications. It makes them appreciate it more.
