My wobbling pulleys (info/fix)

Long story short, I bought this 91 not too long ago and just finished a top end rebuild and head replacement on the 3vze. The guy I bought it from had a replacement short block installed a few months ago (!?!) (w papers from Toyota dealership!?!), but the cheapskate put the old heads on without any rework or adjustment, so it burned a couple valves . After I wrapped up the repairs, it was fine for a few days but started to wobble terribly just on the fan/ps pulley. I dug through forums and feared the worst as I read horror stories about crankshaft nightmares.

Well, it worked out for me in my favor I'd have to say, albeit a crazy issue that I'm not sure anyone else had/will have, but it's something to look for. It was simply an HB swap, now it's back to being a fresh little smooth running and properly chattery 3vze .

A tooth on the front of my harmonic balancer popped off! It's rusty in the crack, so it must have been a long time issue that was finally done in by my last rebuild. I'm not sure if it's a defect in the original casting or metal, but it sure is an odd one. It wasn't broken when I did the repairs, cause I spent time cleaning off old grease and crap from that HB.

Anyway, I thought I'd share it with hopes it helps someone.
