My Son`s 94 4x4 v6 % Sp. With Clutch Problems
My Son Just Recently Purchased A 94 4x4 Pick up.Shortly After Purchasing We Noticed It Started Geting Harder And Harder To Get Into 1St. And Often Grinds In Reverse Also.Is There Any Adjustment On The Clutch Pedal. It Just Seems Like If You Press Down AS Hard As You Can Almost Denting The Fire Wall It Goes Into Gear A Little Bit Easier? Is This Problem Disc , Pressure Plate Issue ? Cable Adjustment? Or Could This Be His Slave Cylinder Going Bad? Any Help App. Alan Bledsoe(For My Son Josh) (I Guess I Raised One Of My Boys Right)

the pedal could need some adjustment, but more than likely its the master/slave cylinder.
i would check the pedal adjustment first, if that's not it, then i would just replace both the master and slave cylinder, there not very expensive.

Check for a cracked pedal bracket and while you're squeezed in there look for leaks from the clutch master cylinder. Sometimes when failing they'll dribble from the boot onto the floor, but they can also fail in less obvious ways.
If ok, I'd bleed the clutch system through the bleeder on the slave cylinder. Look for any obvious fluid leaks from the slave. If that doesn't help, check and adjust the pushrod length where it attaches to the pedal.
Beyond that, replace parts. Master, slave and the hose between the hard lines.

Just dealt with this on my 94 SR5 pickup...
it helps to remove the brake pedal to remove the bracket...
here is the process...
remove the drivers seat (allows you to lay down and look up into the clutch area)
Remove the 4 nuts holding the brake booster on (inside)
remove the electrical connectors for the pedals.
there is a bolt near the brake peddle hinge going vertical (inside), remove it.
remove the two bolts holding the clutch master cylinder on (engine bay)
remove the long bolt holding the brake peddle on (this one is a pain!) (inside)
there are two pins holding the brake and clutch pedal to their respective master cylinders, these need to be removed.
remove the clutch bracket... WELD ER UP, replace.
I hope I did not forget anything... make sure you dont break the welds when you re-align the clutch master bolts. I had to bend mine quite a bit to re-align it. I held it together while welding with a pair of vice grips...
I only have like 15 miles on mine since I fixed it, but an awesome member over on the marlin boards sent me a bracket for free, so I have a spare, I will probably re-enforce it before I get bored enough to replace the welded one.
the only thing that was difficult was the brake pedal bolt, it was difficult to get with the tools I had.
