My new rear bumper *pics*
Bought it from ScottyC at http://www.addictedoffroad.com/ I'm going to paint it this weekend so this is the unpainted 90-95 4Runner model.

I hooked my trailer to it and jumped around on the tongue to test it out so it might have sagged a bit from that. I also loaded some heavy furniture in the trailer and dragged it a few blocks away. I know it's not built for towing, but it worked. I'm going to have some braces welded to the receiver to give it more towing strength. I know it's tough, but I don't want to push it.

I forgot to add, I got a solid 1/2" of lift in the rear by removing the bumper and factory hitch in trade for this setup. Much more clearance, a small amount of lift, and a tough look.

I don't think you necessarily need to have some braces put on it, just get the nuts/bolts tight (used grade 8 right?)
a bead along the bracket towards the rear on each side helps keep it in place.
Mine looks like the same way, I still need to have the bead done
Mine is a similar design by Marlin Crawler and I just used it to pull this thing out on sunday:
I think the reciever mount on yours is probably good to go

I have the same bumper. From my understanding, its a Trail Gear bumper that scotty sells. I wasnt to happy when I found out that it was coming from trail gear but when I got it, I was ok with it.

Those were taken down on the island across the bridge in Havasu. There was a woman down there "servicing" a guy down the beach from me lol. I wonder if they knew I was taking pictures?
