My 94 22RE wont idel

Its most likly been posted before but I went threw the other pages before posting and couldnt find anything that could help me.

My 94 22RE wont idel, I can rev it up and it will stay on untill I get off the gas . Then its off. It started little by little , I would come to a stop then it would shut off . But will start right back when I turned the key. And now it just wont stay on an idel at all.

I did the basics, changed the gas and air filter, spraied carb cleaner allover the vac lines. The starter and EFI relays are the same so I switched them around to see any change, none . Now just picked up a repair book to see if that can help shed some light. A guy from another forum Im on sent me here , So does anyone might have knowledge to share?

Hey does your vehicle throw and codes? Things like such as smells how rough the engine is running and other things make a difference. Since EFi has a various amount of electronic inputs such as oxygen sensors and a MAF Sensor. I would check my oxygen sensors by getting a DVOM (Digital Mulitmeter) and back probing the sensor and checking the voltage. Oxygen Sensors only should put out anywhere from .1v to 1v anything more or less that sensor is screwed up. If your oxygen sensor is ok i would check the MAF sensor but you dont have the tool to check that. Also Keep this in my when working on anything K.I.S.S Keep It Stupid Simple. Your problem might be somewhere else if those things arn't the problem i would also check the Plugs Wires The Distrubutor first jsut so i know that those arnt the problem. It may seem like a lot of work that i told you to do but just think of it this way at least your not paying some shop lots of mney when you could do it yourself for free.
