my 92 toyota pickup 22re only has 86k miles on it. the check engine light came on.
anyone know the code?
also when i shift gears my truck starts to bog down like its running out of gas then it will run fine again until i shift again. can some 1 help me please. how do i check the check engine light?

To check stored engine codes, open the hood and find the diagnostic port. On a '92 it'll be next to the fuse box. Pick up a Haynes manual or find a photo online if you need more info. Find terminals TE1 and E1 and use a short piece of wire of paper clip to connect them together. Now the CEL in the dash will blink in patterns. Again, the Haynes manual or online source will describe what the blinking patterns mean.
