First picture is just so you can see what the second one is of a bit better.

Notice on the upper side the shiny piece. Notice how it's not shiny on the bottom side.

Second picture, close up of first. Look at the left side, the missing/broken piece of whatever that is allowing it to wiggle so much.

Umm, don't know really. Nothing else was adding up, so I wondered if you inspected that at all.

I was just the driver. I did not exchange the money. I had no idea what my friend was doing, officer, he just told me to wait in the truck.

sometimes it's not WHAT you say, but how you say it.......i saw a hysterical sig quote, not sure where, about (and i won't write it) uncle jack on a horse.....

anyway....how much of a repair job was this....U-joints or just driveshaft? just a simple bolt-on right....never messed with a u-joint, looks like a PITA.

The u joints actually looked ok, it was the end of the driveshaft that holds the u joint that was degraded.

So, 8 bolts and a little bit of grease later, problem solved.

Yup, new motor and transmission swap all in a weekend. Should be fun. Hopefully the shakes being fixed can make it so he can wait til the weekend of May 22nd, then we can just overtake my garage and get it all done.

Lots of parking, garage fridge with beer and pop, computer, and tv with cable. very nice!!
