Haha good guess! It is an 85 AE86...I am unfortunately in a place right now where having an extra vehicle is no longer what's best for us...so I'm selling my baby I am however hanging on to most of my 4A stuff as I plan to revisit them down the road! The GZE is amazing in that little car!

My brother has an 89 aw11 sc and we are completley rebuilding the engine at the moment...but I'm still really gonna miss my gts

Dang, that sucks you gotta sell the はちろく。 I've was fortunate I had a friend who kept my car up at his place for 6 years while I couldn't afford to rebuild it. Now I am still driving my very first car I ever bought! (I got my MR2 for just $350 with a blown engine back in 1999!) I know this is getting further off topic, but we have an employee here who is looking for a GTS. Where ya at? If your in or close to California, send me a PM with some info; maybe we could keep it in the wheeling community!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm? A Supercharged Supra engine? Now THAT sounds interesting. The 7M-GTE is not a good wheeling engine at all. I wonder though, running the non Turbo GE cam profile and higher compression, and then slap on a Supercharger like The MAN is suggesting, perhaps that could be a great wheeling engine!!

The A series engine is a 4cyl and the M series is a straight 6....completely different engine. The 7A is a longer stroke than the 4A and is a later model

I live in Canada soo

Haha this got pretty off topic in a hurry!

Regarding the 7M and also even the 5M, some people down here in Cali are swapping these engines in for Rock Crawling use. We do not recommend it

I hear John is getting great response from the Custom Tacos site!

the geo prizm and the celica of the same vintage came with the 7A-FE too
I believe the late AE102 corollas came with this engine also in canada... early ones were 4A-FE only

The earliest 7afe was in 1990 and was only available in Australia. The earliest we got them was 93 if I remember correctly.

The 4age started in 1984 and we got them in 1985. The celicas during that time were 22re.... Starting in 1988 the corolla sr5 was getting the 4af and 4afe...Im not sure when the Celicas got the 4afe...for the most part I thought they were 3S series engine...

I say supercharge the 3RZ!!!

the ugly 4 round headlights celicas (*T200 series) had the 7A-FE, 3S-FE, 3S-GE, 5S-FE, or 3S-GTE... not all engines available in any given country of course

I'm not BSing you because I worked on one once... I was like wtf? I thought they were only in corollas? but apparently the cheapest celicas came with that motor

like I said, same vintage... which means whenever the corolla had the 7A-FE (that is for 93-97), the geo prizm and celicas had them too... I wasn't referring to the older, better/more popular celicas

I think the russian and southeast asian 7A-FEs were the most powerful... they had a better cam and more compression... but who cares lol
