First I am going to switch out my shackles to these boomerang shackles from Sky.

I'm also going to install a track bar on the front.

took the jalopy out to stretch it's legs this evening.

I'm thinking seriously about the track bar, I have seen a lot of jeeps up here in Big Bear and Johnson Valley and most of them have track bars. My friend gave me one to try out.

do those jeeps have leaf springs? you don't need a track bar unless you have a 3 link or 4 link.

Are you thinking of a sway bar or "anti-roll" bar? Track bars keep your axle centered under the truck, which leaf springs also accomplish.

This is where I live for anyone who gives a ˟˟˟˟....

Thanks AKWHEELER for you input.

I am just concerned with making this truck have better on and off road manners.

It's seems the more I put it through its paces, it works better if that makes sense.

I just think my 82 handled better all around but I was also only 20 something at the time.......
