MSD 6AL for 93 4Runner

Has anyone put an MSD ignition box on there 2nd generation 4Runner or 89-95 truck? Did it help? Was the power, performance or plug and/or cap life added? I'm looking for ways to boost my HP and economy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had one on my 22re I believed it helped. The truck was known for running rich and the extra punch cleaned it up. Also make sure yuo get all the parts you need I had to buy a tach adapter for the 22RE.
