I'll try and jump the TPS connecter to simulate an idle signal.

No he/she/they vacated probably the moment I started it up. I drove it to the car wash, washed it, went home and parked in the garage to change the timing belt.

I had a little piece of wire. Worked; FP to +B. Yeah, it's the injector damper. But wierd -- it dripped like a SOB at first but then stopped. I couldn't get it to do it again. Lemme get this thing all back together and we'll see how it goes.

Yay. No fuel leaks. A new pulsation damper from Toyota cost more than 200 bucks. Should have got an aftermarket one from RockAuto for half that. Got it all back together. Went for a shake-down run. Hit the A/C button on the 427 and blew the A/C compressor. The thing just locked up solid and the belt started howling. Winter's comming and the A/C is critical for quickly defrosting the windows. It cost a lot to fix -- BUT -- while in the shop, a rusted-out front brake pipe broke and leaked fluid on the floor. The shop fixed it. Machines and life in general are weird. It didn't break when I was on the 427 -- an amazingly creepy amount of luck.
