I wired a LED to a momentary on switch under my hood so I can find my dipstick tube at night. Works great too! I've also got a vacuum gauge on my dash. Cool to look at but is totally unnecessary.

just ordered a precut sheet of brushed aluminum made to go right in the cluster, got it off eBay for about $11 I think; I stuck it on with some 3M Body-Trim tape (the tape they send with it is a joke)

When I had my interior apart, I ran a 12v wire to the driver's side compartment by the tailgate. Put an RV 12v outlet on the wall of the compartment (inside fo unseen otherwise) and bought a 12v electric blanket for camping, as well as a 12v coffee maker.

Call me Martha Stewart.
