Moding airfilter, kinda stuck
Alright, I want to move my airfilter to the other side where the battery is, but theres a problem, I dont know if its a vacum line or if its for smog but its a house that connects to the airfilter box, can I just put a breather on it so I can move the filter? Can I reloacte the battery without buying new cables, and if so wheres a good place to ground the negative? Any advice will help.
this is what im going for, heres the thread and a pic, https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f130/22re-engine-performance-mods-75172/

Yes, you can put a little breather on the small hose...that's what I did and it is fine. As long as it's filtered. That air is used to help the exhaust.
I had to get a couple cables to move my battery. I just used the same grounds. If it's grounded on the body on the drivers side, just do the same thing on the other side.
Basically, just leave all the wiring the same. I just ran the new battery cables accross the front of the engine bay by the fan shroud. You can just route them around the firewall if you want, but you'll need more cables. Just make sure you stay outta the way of the belts and fan.
