So awhile back I saw a pickup on here for sale with 4Runner headlights and grill.
I asked the owner about it but he said the previous owner had done the mod and it appeared to just be swapping parts.
So.....I score two headlights and a new grille off of eBay for a '94 4Runner....awesome!
Today I strip the front on my '93 Pickup and to my horror none of my new parts will fit.
AHHHHH!!!!
I can only now assume that the radiator crossover panels are different and I would have to hack up my frontend to actually make this mod work!

 

Bummer. I've done stuff like that before.

that's definitely true. you need to swap the whole thing.

 

Nothing interchanges between the 1992-95 4runner and 1989-95 pickup. You need to change the rad support, lights, grill, bumper, side markers and lower valance..

It is DEFANTLY not a bolt up job..

 

but it can be a wire tie up job lol im goin gto be seeing if i can do the tundra swap to my 87 runner
